Q. What if my insurance company denies my claim?

A. If your insurance company denies your claim and you actually have damage, we can help in a variety of ways. Arbitration can be a long process, but if it is determined that your home is indeed damaged, we can help.

Q. How long does the process take from start to finish?

A. It depends. The longest part of the process is rarely the actual restoration; the insurance approval process takes the longest. Once we have your insurance company’s approval, it can take as few as five days from start to finish, though it really depends on the scope of damage.

Q. What if I have a painter (or other contractor) that I really like? Can I have him do the work?

A. No problem – we appreciate loyalty. Just let us know who the contractor is, and once we confirm they are properly licensed, we will gladly get them on the job!

Q. What do I do if my insurance company sends me a check made out to my mortgage company?

A. This is normal. We have the ability to deposit the check into our account to get started on your home. DO NOT send it to your mortgage company without talking to us first.

Q. Do I get to pick out my own selections for paint, flooring etc?
How does this process work?

A. Of course! Picking out your selections is the best part. You are welcome to visit our corporate showroom or browse selections from the comfort of your home. When the time comes, we will reach out to you to schedule the appointment.

Q. Who do I call to check the status of my project?

A. Feel free to call the Affinity Building Solutions office at any stage of project. Once your initial agreement is signed, we work for you! So call us with any questions you have – there is no such thing as calling too much!
